I like the way the handle sits up a bit in the first photo, just inviting to be picked up and I like the rounded bottom, does it tip about as you fill it up? I have one which I drink orange juice from in the morning and it rolls from side to side gently as you fill it. I guess originally they were designed for scooping water from streams.

I like that a lot really good job done on that. i have just been given some birch wich is crying out to be made into the same, make sure you post more pics when its oiled

This piece is not getting oiled, it is alreday in use and the Cubs and Scouts at camp were all fascinated by it.
Its nice to use but I have thinned the lip of the cup where I drink from to make it more comftable to use.
