A legendary knife, long discontinued, and never to be made again according to Molletta, its Italian designer. Here are the full specs:

Blade length: 110mm (4.3")
Overall length: 230mm (9")
Thickness: 3.8mm (0.15")
Weight: 180g (6.3oz)
Finish: satin
Handle: G10 brown
Steel: Vanadis 23
Hardness: 59/60HRC
False edge: not present

This one was originally with sculpted brown G10 scales that I will obviously include in the sale. I also had a set of custom scales made by Ru Titley as pictured. If I can find them there are also some spare bolts.

The knife has been used of course, and is sharp. I can touch it up on the EdgePro clone or send as is. The Vanadis 23 steel is very tough, there was once a video of the Rasul being batoned through a M10 steel nut with little to no damage. Blade has been mustard patterned, and actually could do with more to build a layer of patina, it is a steel that will pick up spots. Not like a true carbon steel, but it needs a bit of love.
Sheath is basic, typical of the Knife Research and Lionsteel collaboration. It has slight cuts and grazing to the strap from sheathing and unsheathing. Here are some basic pics, I’ll find the spare scales and also photograph the sheath a bit better later when I’m home. (Edit: tomorrow. The light indoors isn’t great, I’ve dug out the G10 handle scales, haven’t found the spare bolts, and can’t get a decent pic.)

Price on this, it’s rare and sought after, is £240/ now £230/ now £220 inc tracked postage and PayPal.

Reduction to £190. Now £155

Priced to move before the end of the month.

Ok, original post edited to include the full specs that I managed to find on Bladeforums.

Here are some more pics with the brown G10. This actually feels better in the hand. I don’t think it’s the sculpting, I think the green custom are very slightly thinner, and possibly suited to a smaller palm. A pair of 1mm orange G10 liner would solve this and set the knife off really well. And bonus! Found the spare screws.:)C0FB72C8-1BAC-4DCB-87CC-24E457E4371E.jpeg5F9AFFEF-320D-4268-A999-089D87718774.jpeg277529AB-C632-4E21-A609-9C95B94F74F5.jpeg50ABC64B-9878-4789-91F4-530AE01106E3.jpegF7930963-439C-4E53-A61F-15C84F407390.jpeg72854878-EEFD-4888-9BD1-A8404E63DA2F.jpeg5F9AFFEF-320D-4268-A999-089D87718774.jpegC23C3337-BDE3-42B5-808E-911AAD6DA742.jpeg

You must be planning on something nice if you a thinking of letting this one go, Rich.

True enough. I don’t know what yet, but something I’ll use more. There’s so much out there, I was looking at the TBS Timberwolf the other day, still watching Rob Evs on the Tube (sold the Bushtool a while back, it’s a good knife), Fielder makes good stuff, the bloke down in Bournemouth, AJ Trent, who did the Japanese type handled stuff.

So, I dunno.

Ok, let’s try and shift this. Much as I love the thing, it isn’t doing what it was designed to do, be a workhorse.

A considerable drop to £200 inclusive of all fees.
