Excellent 1st effort.

You make the sheath as well Mark??

Thanks, yes i did make the sheath.

It isn't my first knife( looking at my OP it does read that way, edited), just the first i made to sell, sorry for the misunderstanding. I have made 3 before this. The sheath is my second attempt, the first was a bit small.

I made these first.

I like them all :approve:
Good shape, look slicing good, and the handle profiles look like a secure grip
I like the neat little ricassa too, enough, but no waste of blade there.
Trim, sound, sturdy looking sheath too.

I'm sure the knife bods will be along to have a look; I just like good tools :)

Hope it (and presumably others) sell well for you.:D

Have you used a Maker's Mark ? Something we can associate with your work ?

cheers,
Toddy

Thanks Toddy :).

No i have no stamp made yet, though it is on the cards. I'm not sure where to go to get one made tbh.

The handles are solid and comfortable in all the main grips, they are tools to be used after all.

I'm sorry it's not selling. I'd have it, it's a beaut, but I'm struggling at the moment. For a third or fourth knive that's superb, well they all are. This one just looks like a user, made by someone who uses knives regularly, good length in the handle coupled with a blade shape that can really apply some stable but firm pressure.

Good luck with the sale, you easily deserve £85 for this. And, yes, get yourself a stamp.
