To be honest mate, I'd buy a couple of Fros Mora's or a clipper and an opinel for that sort of money. Never liked hoolow handled knives - possible exception of a Cold Steel Bushman, but I suspect thats more show than substance (no offence)!

Depends what you want it for, but it doesn't look very "useable",all for show, the pattern looks painted on rather than being damascus. I would go with Red, a mora and an opinel!

There are only two hollow handle knives i'd put any trust in the cold steel bushman red mentioned or a chris reeves knife. Go for the mora or the frosts clipper.

Alright Tutchi,

To follow on from what goose red, and Nemisis have all said. Unless your going to spend a small fortune on a decent hollow handled knife steer clear.

So many people have seen Rambo Predator and the knives therein. A knife similar to that used in Rambo made I think by J. Lile sells for around £1100 second hand.

Drop Andy @ www.outdoorcode.com a line his user on here is Outdoorcode. He sells a few knives a very good prices, reaonable postage too.

I got a Mora for my son, following my experience of them. They are inexpensive, very good learn with. They hold a reasonable edge, and if you did ever lose it, they cost less than a tenner to replace, worth buying 2 so you have a spare.

The clippers, are also very good knives, but dont throw money at a cheap hollow handled knife mate.

Good Luck

Hi Guys
Serious business this knife question :lmao: Am on a learning curve re knives. Don't like these military style knives by the way. The article was put in purely as a lighthearted conversation piece but I can see it missed the mark by a long way :27:
As a matter of interest I have a Clipper in carbon a hand made Brusletto in carbon a Puma in SS and last but not least a hand made bush knife in carbon.

Tutchi
P.S. Thanks for the feedback nevertheless.
