Kielder forest bothies and bush craft.

have been deliberating over a trip to kielder for a while. lat time i was up there i read a leaflet about bothies that are scatteres around to forest itself. not sure they are operated by the MBA or the forestry commission but if anyone has any info i would be grateful.

I am thinking of a trip up there in the autumn when the midges arnt so bad. possible using mountain bikes as mode of transport with panniers and my new bits of kit.

could be a fun place to go if they are still open.
