I dont often watch out for these, but tonight's has been really quite good. A couple from Wales living off grid in very northern Sweden. On Channel 4 now, and catchup later I guess.

I missed the first half, but thoroughly enjoyed the rest. Did they say how they make their money? Jobs, selling handcrafted items, farming?
Program said he got paid for "Managing the Forest" about the equivalent of £200 per month.

I think its really tempting to do what they did. And I wouldnt be surprised if that house and land he had cost under 30 grand. Maybe considerably less.
I was told by a guy who bought a house in norrbotten which is the northernmost county, [is that where they were based? I didnt catch all of the programme] that you pick up some of the best houses around for under £40 grand.
I want to know who paid him for managing the forest? The local council?
