Kelly Kettle packs

Made some sacks for my Kelly Kettle, one from leather the other from canvas. These would go into a rucksack or strapped to the side but thinking now that I might start on a rucksack that is designed around carrying the Kelly plus then the food and extras needed.
Any suggestions?

What I'm thinking though is designing a backpack with the KK as the focus first then either pockets around it. But maybe the round KK will be too uncomfortable against the spine so does it need to be to one side?

I'd try the KK in a pocket that holds it horizontally at the top. Maybe as part of the lid? Better for weight distribution and comfort
