I was out and about in the woods at the weekend, having a go at building my first litter shelter. Anyway, I chose to use my Karrimor Sabre 45 (I have the tactical version, padded waist belt + loops etc) for the first time.
Some of you may have already discovered this, but I found by adjusting the lanyard on the sheath of my knife (I was wearing it baldric style under the rucksack), I could then pop the sheath in one of the belt loops of the rucksack whilst walking, which kept it close to hand and stopped it wobbling around.
