The new DPM (don't they call it MTP - Multi Terrain Pattern) is a dead-ringer for Multicam. That's because it is, and it's made by the same people.
Traditional DPM is cheap enough already, and the new cam isn't due for a few years yet, and even then it will probably filter down through the regiments pretty slowly (this is the British army we're talking about, 'make do' being the best way to summarise its philosophy).
The good news is that it will mean some gucci multi cam will come onto the civilian market at cheaper prices! Although it will lose its obscure and elite status by definition.
