Firstly Hi everyone I'm a newbie
Secondly Could anyone advise me on a beginners bushcraft knife, as I'm new to all of this I don't want to spend a fortune just in case I don't get many chances to get out there.
Thirdly can anyone recommend any books on carving walking sticks?

Thanks all

Welcome to BCUK I'm sure you'll enjoy it here!

I'll go along with everyone else so far and say a frost mora or clipper. Have a look around on evilbay and suppliers as you'll get a great deal.

I can't recommend any books, but would just suggest that you get your knife and have a go! If you have any questions just post and someone will either have the answer or have a sensible and sometimes creative suggestions!

Good luck with your projects!. Mind your fingers is the only advice I'd give! ;)
