Just one tent

moving out to study and most of my kit will be stored.

Im taking `one` tent (two, if I can)

Choice of

Vango force 10
vango force 10 the 1 man version
vango banashee
my beach shelter with a door (small but its a single skin so condensation)
my car camping tent, a 2 man with an appealingly big porch (the dratted thing doesn't pack down well)

what would you take?

What are you going to do with the tent? Are you taking your car? Will you have to carry the tent everywhere with you?

I generally car camp but I may have to backpack. (some thing I have never done)

So this means it needs to be small

Which ever is lighter of the Force 10 or the banshee.

If just one then probably the small Force 10. If 2 then add the big car camping tent. I would want to have the capability of camping in comfort in poor conditions so I wouldn't take anything that could not do that.
