I finished this Kuksa the other day, its made from Willow from a job at work, I still dont know if I should do some Kolrosing on the handle or not?.

Thanks folks, I have left it as it is I just oiled it with Linseed oil.

hi, 10/10 mate after all your hard work do you worry that the wood will split/crack? or is willow very stable? what type of knives did you use. thanks for your time:).carl

Thanks, I cut the wood at work and just started carving it that night, the wood was worked green over a few days, to keep it from drying it was kept in a bag with the shavings.

Willow is good to work and as long as it doesn't dry out too fast its wont, or shouldn't split.

The knife I use is a one that I made, the blade is a Lauri drop point and the handle is mountain ash.
