Anyone keen on blood cancer?

Me neither!

If you're reading this and you don't like blood cancer, why not register with DKMS and you might be able to help someone one day.

I registered for bone marrow donations years back and that's more of a pain as you need to have blood samples taken so needed to book in with the GP. This one is really easy though as they send you three swabs that you use to take cells from inside your cheek. It's so easy and if you could manage a covid test, you can easily manage this as it's much nicer to do.

Fill in a few details on the website, get some swabs delivered, do the swabbing, drop it them back in the post - done!
It's so simple that there's not really any excuse not to, if you meet the criteria.

So, who's signing up?

I signed up for BBMR (bone marrow) tests years ago. (British)

Edited to add:- it’s now the NHS Stem Cell Doner Registry.

If you’ve signed with them or the Anthony Nolan Register, then you don’t have to do anything. They have the data that they need.
