jacket recomendations?

  • Come along to the amazing Summer Moot (21st July - 2nd August), a festival of bushcrafting and camping in a beautiful woodland PLEASE CLICK HERE for more information.
I think we need more information?
My go to is a Regatta anorak which was about £80 and is waterproof.
I like the layer system so warm and breathable are handled by other layers.
Greencraft on youtube has a good series on bushcraft on a budget.

I bought a Craghoppers Waverley Thermic Jacket that I am pleased with

Dude's in Finland, which makes UK brands perhaps less useful recommendations, also, Finland is going to have different winter weather to the UK, so good in UK might not be so good. Also, having joined on the 15th October, hasn't been back on forum since 16th October, so all advice posted since has just been whistling in the wind.

Nobody replied to his post for 21 days, I hope that wasn't why!

I'm surprised that I didn't reply, I usually comment on clothing choice when they appear on new posts search. No idea why I missed it.
