At last.
At long blinkin' last.
It actually looks like Spring has sprung.
I've had a terrible Winter.
I had a cold, which turned into bronchitis, which turned into sinusitis. That means for the whole of January and February I was feeling crap. And didn't get out.
But now I'm feeling fighting fit again, AND the weather has turned!
Which means that this weekend I am going to get out and about!
I have loads of new things to play with - I made myself a kuksa, I also made myself a wooden spork, I bought a camping stool and made a carry bag for it that clips onto my pack, I have modified my nimblewill stove, and (best of all) I have the knife Hillbill made for me! All of which are yet to see use, and all of which will be christened this weekend!
And I'm jolly well flipping looking forward to it!
Haven't decided where I'm going yet. But I keenly hear the call of the sea - the romance of the waves.
What are you looking forward to?
