Ever since I got my new leatherman wave, the serrated blade has been a bit tricky to open. Have oiled and opened lots, but it doesnt sem to be any better. Can anyone give me a few tips?

Jon,

Don't know about the Wave, but on my Charge model there a torq head set into the pivot bolt that can be loosened or tightened to change the resistance - I guess there isn't on the Wave?

Bingo..... I have the wave and found the same thing. There are indeed torque screws that can be adjusted to make the blades open a little easier. They also adjust the handles as well so unless you want a "floppy" Leather man, a very small adjustment is needed.

Jon,

Do you have a torx key for it (like an allan key)? Mine came with one and if your is lost I could probably dig mine out and post it to you if you like?
