Is this ground elder?

Was in the woods today with my working cocker, and at one point he was eating this
I have had a look through some of my books and can't find exactly what it is. The closest is ground elder but I'am sure it's not
Any ideas?

Wrong leaves for Ground Elder. Looks more like Dog Mercury to me.

Yeah he seems to be fine, I know at some times he chews on grass and makes himself sick, I thinks it's there way of getting better if this makes sense,
