Is this birch polypore??

We found these growing on a smallish birch tree this morning

Are they birch polypore's?

No, that is a pair of green wellingtons

Piptoporus bettulina ........it's the one you can use as an elastoplast. It carries a burning ember really well too

Thanks for the confirmation folks :You_Rock_. I looked up a few older threads on polypore uses and think I will try to make a strop and try it out as tinder also.
