ipk shelter system

[whats wrong with you all]

was thinking of getting an ipk shelter system, didnt know if anyone has tried them before or not?

the tarp seems a half decent size for a lean to shelter, especially since its £5

any thoughts?

They are a bit small for a shelter IMHO, and aren't designed to be repeatedly packed up, causing the proofing to crack.

Well worth buying for the quality pegs and (white) cordage tho...

It's small, it's heavy. That said, it's a decent fivers worth (look around I got mine a little cheaper than that) for the pegs and lines and the tarp makes a good groundsheet

The original intent was to cover a slit trench and then cover the tarp with earth so it was never necessary to make it very wide.
