Some of you may of seen this but i hope the majority of you havn't as i think it is a great find.
I am planning on buying a couple and spending the next year making a fantastic knife for both my brother and father!

Hope you like and hope a few of you buy and try it yourself...

A nice way to make your first knife. I've owned a few knives (bought ones) and lost a few of them, making your own is far more satisfying, you take greater care of it and you're less likely to loose something that's taken hours of your time to produce.

Make sure you post a picture of the finished knife when its done.

Yeah, I got one of these for my better half a couple of years ago and she still uses the knife. Not a bad blade either, although she got the carbon steel version not the stainless. I've also seen these sold cheaper than that. Hiennei Haynes sells the Carbon for £20 and the Stainless for £25 including postage, although admitedly they don't have the free fire steel.

nice kit reasonable price with the fire steel included take a look at Brisa knife suppliers if you haven't done a knife before best practice on some old wood for your handle as you only get one shot at it

My biggest tip is to thin the tang rather than widen the gap in the bolster as it will fit with gaps anyway.
I would also buy one and see how you get on then maybe buy seperate parts to make a better job
Do not follow the instructions given but look HERE and HERE

The blade is good and you can make a nice knife with one of those kit here is one of mine I made for a friend after he started badly but I added some bits and pieces. Take great care making the parts fit with no gaps easily before glueing you fill gaps with leather spacers to take up small gaps.
