I disassembled it and here is the culprit:
See the black cog in the middle
It has a tiny ridge circumferential to the axis. this ridge rests against the likewise ridge of the motors cover, fixating everything
and this little bugger shows premature wear, causing the cog to float axially and then the lens wont expand
Ofcourse, Sony wont supply the customer with any spare parts form inside a camera, since they dont want anyone to poke inside.
But I will be b******d if I am spending at least € 100,- for a repair which wasnt necessary in the first place, if those blokes at Sony hadnt thought up such crap.
