British gas mask bag?
As a teenager I used to get the bus to nottingham to see friends or the ex there'd be a man on the bus at the same time everytime, who used to come on rocking a shaved head, headphones, shorts (in winter) and a DPM gasmask bag, i loved the look of that bag. It just fit so well.

Leka had some Claymore mine shoulder bags that sold out faster than you can say Rob Jackinson. Apparently also good for the purpose. (With printed user instructions inside.) So I think I saw some on other surplus sellers too.
