IMCO's + Meths

Anyone using Meths in there IMCO lighter - or will it corrode the casing?

i just use lighter fluid its not expensive and thee's no danger of messing your lighter up

Aye - the reasoning behind the question was that if I'm carrying a bottle of Meths with me for my coke can stove can I also use that to fill up the lighter. I know I can dip the wick and do it that way.

i did it with my zippo, it worked fine but did not last long, i think it was due to the liquid getting warm in my pocket and evaporating......

its ok for get you out the brown stuff styley......

I did it with my Zippo too, after a week or so, the flint crumbled. I have no idea what happened, it just broke.

You can get miniture flasks to go on your keyring that will hold spare fuel. Will post a link when i get to a computer.
