Had mine resurfaced in 2002 after a motorbike accident when I was a teen finally caught up with me and the joint was arthritic and knackered. Haven't looked back since (touch wood!). I still remember the amazement at being able to walk and move around pain free after so many years of acute discomfort.

Relax and gradually strengthen the muscles and ligaments over the next few months and you'll forget you even have the new one fitted

hi all glad your on the mend andy that self medicating is great init i had my right hip done on the 27th of jan nearly six weeks ago im walking with one stick now, just do the exorcizes regularly and you will be fine get well soon regards dave

Oooh - you stirrer, you! (Although I did hear that Tiger bones, grated and mixed with dried, powdered Panda eyeballs will do the trick nicely )
