I'm off on a wild camp tonight, on a local well known hill near me.

Well folks,

Looks like we are forecast some wind and rain tonight. So i think i'll get me sen out on a wildcamp, on a local hill just up the road from me, my second time out in a new tent i've just bought

Might even see the Perseids meteor shower, with clear sky's if i'm lucky

Note to myself, give certain family members plenty of warning of your plans for that night!

I stayed in the garden from 12.30 until about 2 last night and saw lots of meteors, a few really bright scorchers. I was sat in a camp chair and could still feel the crick in my neck today. Think I'll get one of the carp fisher bedchairs out of the garage and bivi bag in it tonight.

Well had a nice wildcamp last night, i changed location and went to Boltby forest on the western edge of Northyorkshire moors. I didn't get much kip as there was a music gig on at High paradise farm, went on till the early hours I was late late rising on the morning, while having breakfast i seen a few buzzards above the tree tops calling to one another

I could hear it when i got there, sounded like one of them 70s disco nights, i thought it stop about 11pm, wishful thinking, 2.30am it stopped. Wildcamp & Gig for free lol.

It was deffo a wildcamp Rob, i didn't see a soul until next morning, when i got back to the car park.

I just heard loud music through to night, coming from about 1/4 mile away.
