Im looking for a book, and I dont know if it exists.
Weve all watched people like Heimo Korth, and others in the remote alaskan bush, and the narrator normally glosses over how this man managed to move from being a busboy in Minnesota, overnight to living comfortably, providing for a family in the middle of nowhere, including building his own cabin, trapping, knowing when to grow what, or trap what, or hunt what etc etc etc.
I mean it must be a long list of very specific skillsets hes learnt. Most of them known to native peoples for eons.
Does such a book exist?
On how to from zero knowledge to having the knowledge of someone like Heimo Korth?
A DIY manual if you like covering every little aspect.
Much like John Seymours, book on self sufficent living, [which covers every little thing] but from a Canadian/Alaskan point of view?
For those that havent got a copy of John Seymours book, it could take you from zero to homesteading hero, its that jam packed on how to do it.
Thanks.
