Hi all.

I wasn't planning getting too elaborate. A good site needs to be comfortable but still offer the a chance to view the local wildlife. The woodland is a conservation area so i don't want to level the place.

I have to say the only thing that could make your wood any better would be a small river (and not that one on the footpath!!).
Seriously though you have a cracking bit of woodland there , but i would advise not to build too much ( unless Val and yourself are moving in permanantly !!)
A couple of camp site structures just to show what can be done to make life a little easier (you already had some good ideas for those) should be plenty .

Hi everyone

Personally Wayne, I'd be tempted to put up a couple of Laavu style huts... open fronted, good fire base in front and benches to sit around. Large enough to get a small gathering under cover from the rain. Built from logs they'll weather in quickly too.
