Hello everyone,

Miss Socks and myself stumbled upon a large patch where there were many of these orange berries growing. We haven`t seen them before and wondered what they were. Google didn`t help us much either, so I`d like to call in the help lines here.

The way they grow is a lot like raspberries. There was one plant that produced the redder variety as seen in the last picture. The rest was all orange in various degrees of ripeness. Does anyone know the species? And are they edible?

Thanks in advance!

Cool! I`ll have a google. I am based in the Netherlands, and these grow in what used to be the land of a mansion. The family that owned it ages ago were known to collect exotic plants on their estate. This might be a result of that? Thanks for the quick answers! :-D We`ll have something new to forage these weeks then!
