I made knife

Hi all,I thought I would share a knife I made out of 01 tool steel,heat treated by stew of this parish,It’s the fist time I’ve made a knife out of 01 4 mm tool steel,and first time I have put a full flat grind on.I added red liners with olive wood scales 6 mm mosaic pins and 8 mm brass lanyard tube.I have made a couple of knives before but were made from old rasps,very happy with this one,I made it for my girlfriends son and he is over the moon with it.

That is a fine piece of work the detail in the handle is incredible.
Don't forget to put pics of the sheath once completed.

Oh, thats is nice.

I myself would have used plain and not mosaic pins as it detracts (slightly) from the wood.

But thats just pedantic

Unfortunately as I’m a novice knife maker I got the point a bit hot whilst grinding,so had to re profile,but I’m happy with it
