Clint Eastwood, Richard Burton et al were supposed to be disguised as Alpenkorps (properly Gebirgsjäger,). A P42 Bergen might have been a little conspicuous.
They still held a hell of a lot of ammunition and didn’t seem at all heavy to carry.

Incredible how many shot there are in small pocket pistol with only one magazine.

FN57 has a std magazine capacity of 20 extended 30 and a drum of 55 (idiotic).
