Hi guys I'm after an old style husqvarna hatchet. Like this one here.

Image nicked from Soar on here (hope you don't mind mate)

Its the older model I'm after not the newer one.

Plenty to trade etc. Ask what you're after.

Cheers

Both axes are made by another company for Husqvarna. The older model has a different profile. It is shaped more like the Gransfors axes.

The newer model is manufactured by a different company, I forget who. And has a much more basic shape.

There's nothing wrong with the newer model, I'm just a fussy sod.

All the best

First dibs will be to Everything Mac as he asked about it in my sales thread.
Thanks to everyone else who has shown interest. If Mac doesn't want it I will reply in order to the ones who have asked about it.

Well done Andy. It has the look of Hult Bruk or Gransfors Bruk about it. I wonder who made this version.
Cheers mate, just waiting on Johnnyboy getting back to me.

I did know this at one point but I really can't remember. I'm fairly sure Wetterlings made them at one point. Either the old one or the new one.

They came out and were very popular, then for what ever reason Husqvarna switched manufacturers.

I considered buying one when they came out but never got round to it. The new pattern just doesn't do it for me.

All the best
Andy

All yours Andy will drop my pp details now.
I was told when I bought it that it was made by Wetterlings. Tis a nice little tool but not often I use an axe and when I do I take my GB scandi axe.
