Sat here enjoying the sunshine streaming in through the window and i get an email notification.

I go to my inbox and see an email from BCUK, expecting it to be a notification of a reply to a post im following, i open it up and start reading, when i read this;

"You've been gifted an account upgrade (Full member - Gold) by Anonymous, it's been successfully applied to your account."

All i can say is whaaaaat, wow, knock me down with a feather (not difficult at present lol), i'll go to the foot of our stairs, you get the idea, yup, i'm gobsmacked.

Thank you ever so much to whoever it was that did this, it is truly appreciated.

Just got a notification through my email that my gifted membership has been renewed via Paypal, ive checked my Paypal and see no payments going out, so i can only assume that the very kind person who gifted the membership to me last year has either done the same again this year, in which case i thank you from the bottom of my heart, or they have forgotten to cancel the recurring paypal payment, either way - thank you very much and if you wish to cancel the recurring payment then i fully understand. Unfortunately i cannot contact whoever this may be directly, as it's shown as a gift from "anonymous"
