Can anyone direct me to historically accurate plans/patterns/articles on the wooden boxes used by the Hudson Bay Company for storing trade goods when they were shipping them by canoe?

Having collected and restored enough tools to cause serious storage problems it's about time I actually did some woodwork and I thought pegged boxes would be a relatively easy introduction.

Thanks!

Tombear, I tried to find Hudson's Bay Co. storage chests but struck out, however, here is a website showing some sea chests. I expect, the Hudson's Bay Co. just used what was already in existence. Possibly cutting it down a bit. Although, I doubt that. They frequently used really large canoes that crossed the Great Lakes. In size, these are huge compared to a modern canoe.
