how to upload pictures? and having problems!

I am using XP professional operating system and using Mozilla firefox, every time i try to upload a picture, on the Gallery section, i am getting this message!

home/bushcraft/domains/bushcraftuk.com/public_html/gallery/uploads/8686: Error creating directory (check permissions).

Please notify the System Administrator.

I contacted the SystemAdmin, but no luck so far.
Any help would be appreciated,
