Evening all!

I thought this might be of interest from a Bushcrafty perspective. In this week's video we cover not only how to re-wax a waxed jacket but also how to cheaply make your own wax. The same technique can be used to wax a cotton tarp, canvas pack or gas mask bag!

Perfect timing! Thanks for the video. Not only am I now going to rewax my barbour myself, I'm also going to make the wax for it as well! Brilliant!

Soften it with warmth 'crayon' it on and chase it in with a hair dryer. My windproof smock is done thus.
This particular mix is fairly soft to begin with so doesn't need warming to crayon, but some harder compounds certainly benefit from it. I like a softer combination on things like bags

Definitely. Something like a soft nail brush to remove any mud then a basic sponge clean. Let it dry before rewaxing
