?how to find out a previous night's temperature

I stayed out in the garden last night to test the snugpack underblanket/quilt/coccoon set up under a tarp - very pleased as I was nice and warm.

It seemed very cold but:

• how do I find out the actual temperature for my area for last night

• I don't have a max/min thermometer - ?anybody know of accurate/cheap/durable ones?

Thanks Resnikov - the site at http://www.wunderground.com/history/ looks the business and shows the temperature was around -8 degrees C here last night so I am well pleased that I was nice and snug in those conditions.

Just to confirm - I had tried to find this info myself but could only get sites with record temperatures, not recordS of temperatures

Thanks for the link Ged - that thread had passed me by.

I have concluded that now that I know about http://www.wunderground.com/history/, then that will be good enough for my purpose (which was to get an idea of the minimum temperature to within a few degrees)
