How far would you travel for a Christmas tree?

I trekked to Wilkinson's for ours.

I Trekked all the way from my shop to the end of the parade to the florist that does nothing but Christmas trees in December. My tree has come from Denmark (I feel a bit lazy now).

I like that idea, a very nice connection to places you've been other than just photos. And much better than souvenirs.

I don't do Xmas so wouldn't go a single mm to get a tree, interesting story though thanks for sharing.

I won't get mine until next week. However I did go with my daughter and SIL as well as Barbara today to get theirs. A few miles back into the Eglin Reservation we found the first one that we cut for Barbara. About a mile back towards home we cut one for the kids.

Cost of the permits? $1 each. The kids have theirs up in the living room but not yet decorated as of the time Nikole posted it on FB; bear in mind, these are wild trees, not groomed farm raised Christmas trees:
