...your hammock? :D

Received my MagiKelly hammock through the post this morning, and I'm trying to decide whether to buy rope or webbing to hang it from. Is tubular webbing better than the flat stuff? How much should I attach?

The webbing is more tree friendly as it tends not to cut in to the bark, being flat.I have got ten metres which i cut in half,so each end of the hammock has 5 metres of webbing, and its more than plenty.
Hope this helps Schwuk.

Yeah, 5-6 m of webbing each end is what I use. And I'd replace the hooks it comes with with karabiners. Flat webbing is fine - and you don't really need the strength of fancy climbing webbing. 10m of heavy-duty webbing is a suprisingly large bundle - I was glad when I replaced mine with some more lightweight stuff.
