How do I remove nock and insert from arrow

I have a couple of easton aluminium arrows, does anyone no how I can remove the nock and metal insert, thanks in advance.

They are normally glued in with heated glue. Heat the shaft evenly at the end and the insert should pull out.

I tried that but it won't come out.

Try holding the nock end in a pot of boiling water for a few minutes and then pulling it. Otherwise your arrows will be an inch shorter.
Why would you want to remove the nock? I can understand changing the arrowhead but the other end just has to engage the string.

The boiling water worked, It's for a slingbow I wanna put a golf tee in the end.
