Hops

What can I do with them? Anyone need some?

Traditionally strings of hops have been used about the home to gather dust, sorry decoration.

They are meant to help you sleep so people put dried hops in little cloth pillows.

Obviously hops are used to flavour beer but the variety is important and I didn't get great results in wild hops.

If you have a plant near by the young shoots, about 6" tall make a good spring green, similar to asparagus.

I've seen them sold over here as "tisane" (herbal tea); supposedly relaxing and encouraging good, restful sleep.

I've no idea of the amount that you'd use for a mug of water... I suppose start off with a little and increase it if the flavour or smell is too weak.

Oddly, I did the same just the other day. Found a load growing in a back lane. Not far from a patch of horseradish I sometimes visit.
