Hop poles?

Hi everyone

Trying to find a source of hop poles (chestnut not softwood), it is for a special needs project
Based in Herefordshire/Worcestershire can collect.

Any ideas suggest would be great

Hi,

Have you tried popping into one of the local pubs, most afternoons you'll see the workers having a break, and everyone knows everyone.

I'm sure for the price of a beer you could end up with more than you need. There are loads of hop farms just outside Ledbury, if you popped by they might be able to help.

Had to cancel the meet up things did not go to plan.

Will try the pubs, might go knocking on a few farm doors.

Hi Redflex,

Good to see another Herefordian on t'internet. bigbarn.co.uk has a list system that is postcode orientated. There is a place near Ledbury called Hopmania (i think it's hopmania.co.uk) and they have anything hop related. Good luck!

Had to cancel the meet up things did not go to plan.

Thats a shame, as we were in the woods this weekend, and it would have been nice to have met up if I'd known you were around.
