Honeydew on Tarp

Hello all. Had my True North Little Tarp rigged under a Sycamore tree for a few days and it's now covered in honeydew.

I'm not worried about looks, but the stickyness is a annoying when packing it away and I'm not sure whether the honeydew will damage the synthetic coating on the tarp.

Any ideas? Thanks all once again...............hc

Try washing in a machine or by hand using soap flakes or one of the proprietary waterproof jacket cleaners. I tend to re-proof using nixwax wash in for synthetics to keep it proofed. HTH

Cheers Acorn. A definite job for later on down the line. I managed to rig up the tarp nice and taught and wash it down with some fresh water and a cloth. The honey due came off a treat. Phew close call..........hc
