Anyone growing/grown Honeyberry? Lonicera caerulea

Had a search - couldn't really see anything.

I have a few bushes growing, still quite small though. The berries are in no way exceptional but not too bad either.

I think calling honeyberry is a lot clearer and safer than calling it honeysuckle. Honeysuckle, common place everywhere around here, is toxic and not good eating. Not to be confused, even if they are in the same family.

This plant however seems to do well anywhere that the blaeberries will grow.

I haven't tried it, I know of it from friends who live in Japan, and I think of it much like green tea. Okay, sometimes, but it's not Tetley or Twinnings, iimmc ?

Have you thought of growing the fruiting fuchsias ? Those are sweet, tasty, pretty plants and the fruits make decent jam too :)

Just to ensure we are talking about the same thing.
