Homemade hammock stand

Just finished making a hammock stand out of 2"x2", so that i can sleep out in my garden



Does anyone else use their hammock in the garden and how do youset it up

Assuming it's not collapsed (and is therefore worthy of imitation) - any chance of a dimensioned sketch?
Trying to find some plans on the net but so far no luck

we tie one end to a gate hinge which is embedded in a block wall and a post with one of those metal spikes in the ground for the other

last place i lived i had two trees that honestly could not of been more perfect for it


love the hammock stand yu are set for the summer now
small fire near by maybe a couple of cans and the night sky

Looks great! Hope it stays sturdy. Are all the lengths of wood used the same?

We've got a tree and a ring we've bolted to the shed.
