As before with the Adze's I also had a go at a draw knife. a straight steel rod bent at 45' each side with a rectangle of brushcutter blade welded to it and two stihl file handles just to make it look good and comfort. sharpened edge and with wet & dry and leather stropped.
Just a little envious. There are no cheap draw knives here or I would have one by now.
A tool that I don't need every day but far better than just "nice to have."
I have picked up a couple of nice draw knives from ebay that just needed a clean and sharpen for less than fifteen quid including delivery, just keep your eyes open
Humdrum just goes to show there is more than one way to skin a cat nice one!
Thanks guys. we actually had to drill through the handles and then used two part epoxy to glue them on asnd welded small washer on the end before spray painting with Hammerite.
