As before with the Adze's I also had a go at a draw knife. a straight steel rod bent at 45' each side with a rectangle of brushcutter blade welded to it and two stihl file handles just to make it look good and comfort. sharpened edge and with wet & dry and leather stropped.

It works a treat!

Just a little envious. There are no cheap draw knives here or I would have one by now.
A tool that I don't need every day but far better than just "nice to have."

I have picked up a couple of nice draw knives from ebay that just needed a clean and sharpen for less than fifteen quid including delivery, just keep your eyes open :)

Humdrum just goes to show there is more than one way to skin a cat :) nice one!
