i recently bought a DDtarp the 3x3m one ,brilliant bit of kit,but as soon as i saw it in its bag i just knew it could be packed smaller to save room,so i bought some 1inch webbing online and scavenged some webbing pull tight buckles from an old push chair that was thrown out and here is the result a DD tarp now reduced to HALF the size, and thus leaving more room for teddies:

Incidentally keep an eye out for webbing clips and buckles, you will often find them on buggered shopping trollies, old pushchairs and buggies, bycycle trailers etc,i have a whole load here and they dont half come in handy!

I use a dry bag - clips to the ridgeline when putting the tarp up or down and stops other stuff getting wet when wet tarp is packed away.
