I think i have put this in the right area.
After seeing the pocket axe by GB at delamere i just fell in love with it. Around the fire John (singeblister) convinced me that we could make one.
Its taken a while to get the time to make it and we had a great time. I learned an awfull lot and cannot thank John for his skills, time and patience with me asking questions about everything.
It has brass/copper not sure what on the axe head from some other stuff that John was working on at the same time. It has added to the look. the axe is razor sharp and cuts like a demon.
All in all it was great fun to make and is even better to use.
Thanks again John.
Here it is......( when i get more time i will post up better piccys, and i might even do a tutorial)

would love to see a tutorial

Thanks for the comments. I will try and get a tutorial done over the weekend.
I should have chosen a better piccy of the axe and not picked the one where i am grinning like a chesire cat at how happy i am with it. I will post them up later.
The piccy does not do this axe justice, i know i am biased but hey its my first axe so please bear with me. I am still floating around on cloud nine at how good it looks and feels in my hand.
