Hi all,
I recently came across an old felled Holly tree on one of my permissions.
I squirreled some larger bits away for future use, and also found some fairly
dry pieces, and came up with this.......
011.jpg010.jpg002.jpg
All shaped by hand (no pwer tools) Enzo necker cracking little blade for £22.00.
At a bit of a loss regarding neck sheath designs..... any ideas anyone??

Very nice. Waiting for good old Royal Mail to deliver my scandi version. I've got some buffalo horn ready and waiting for it.

As for sheath, I'm thinking 2mm leather, point down with simple loop for some kind of cord round my neck.

You've made a really good job of that one, and holly is just such a lovely wood; take care when it's wet though, it gets very slippery - they used to use it on the underside of small fishing vessels 'cause they slid up the beach easily.......................atb mac

I got both mine from Brisa.fi. 30 euro minimum order, but its soo easy to spend more.

I also really like the shape, just like a mini Trapper.

Plus you can get loads of different slabs for the handle. I got some black & blue G10 from them too. Never used it before, man that's hard stuff!
