Holiday suggestions

Just wondering if any of you guys know of some where cheap that i can take my family on holiday, maybe Wales /Cornwall/Devon or New Forest/ Forest of Dean or the likes.

Was thinking of log cabin or caravan or similar. wife has said no to tent holiday

I ask this question because i enquired about a log cabin in Wales for the week after next and was offered one for 3 nights at £360 !!!!! rip off or what ?

Dates around 26th to 29 August. Bank holiday week.

any ideas welcome.

Have you thought about a mongolian yurt holiday. I have been looking at these myself and there like a permenant tent and have a wood burning stove inside for cooking and warmth. I have been looking at http://www.lake-district-yurts.co.uk/ which looks really nice. Hope this helps.

Thanks mate, looks really good but fully booked for the summer. Might be an idea for later in the year and with the woodburner going, lovely.
